Step 1: Create a New Document 400 x 400 px. Using the Gradient Tool, draw a blue gradient on the background like on the next picture. Colors I used are: #2f8bc0 to #6dc5de.

Step 2: First create a new layer, than with Ellipse tool create bunch of random white circles (you can press shift to get perfect circles). Set your settings like on the next picture:

And try to get something like this:

Step 3: The cloud looks quite nice already, but to give it some more detail, you must apply the following layer styles to your cloud layer: Inner Shadow, Outer Glow, Stroke. To get to  the layer styles press right mouse on your cloud layer and than blending options like on the next picture:

After that set your settings like on the next pictures (feel free to modify your layer styles):

And you will get something like this:

Open new document 200X100 px, and make new layer Layer>New>Layer (Shift+Ctrl+N).

Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool (M), and activate option Fixed Size. Set your settings like on the next picture.

Click on your new layer to make it active, and than click to make selection. Than with Paint Bucket Toll (G) fill selection with white (you can use any color you want), and after that set stroke settings like in the next picture.

Next go to Layer>Layer Style>Gradient Overlay and set it like this:

With Horizontal Type Tool write anything you want.

Step 1: Start a new document 800×600 (or any size you want). Press D to reset your colors to black and white.
Step 2: Go to Filter » Render-Clouds

Step 3: Apply the unsharp filter. Filter » Sharpen » Unsharp Mask.
Amount: 500% Radius: 30px. Threshold: 30

Step 4: Apply the WAVE distort filter. Filter » Distort » Wave with this settings.

Step 5: Now duplicate this layer. Then apply the following filter to the new duplicated layer.
Filter » Stylize » Extrude

Step 6: Apply the Gaussian Blur filter to the duplicated layer. Filter » Blur » Gaussian Blur 0.7px

Step 7: Now set the top (duplicated layer) layer’s blending mode to: Darken, and tune the opacity down to about 70%. Now flatten the image. Layer » Flatten Image.

Step 8: Now go to Filter » Render » Lighting Effects. Now feel free to play around with the settings here to get your own result. Here is one I used.

Step 9: Go to color balance and choose color. This is my final result.

Here you can see how to make a cool abstract wallpaper in just a few steps.

Step 1: Create a new image 800 x 600 px (you can set any size you want).

Step 2:  Now you set the 2 base colours for the wallpaper. The colors I used are #25841b and #FFFFFF (you can pick different colours). Set your foreground colour to #25841b and your background colour to #FFFFFF. Choose Filter > Render > Clouds.

Step 3. Next choose Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast… and set the Contrast to +70.

Step 4: Now choose Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple; set the Ripple Size to 13 and the Ripple Magnitude to 17.

Step 5: Now choose Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Set the angle to 90° and the distance 150.

Step 6: And in the end choose Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. Hold down Ctrl and press F to repeat the filter.

Load up Photoshop and create a new file with a white background 600 x 300px. Then use the type tool to write something of your choice.

Right click on the text layer in the layer palette, and apply these styling options.

Step 1: Load up Photoshop and create a new file with a black background 600 x 300px. Then use the type tool to write something of your choice.

Step 2 : Go to Filter>Noise>Add noise, intensity 130%

Press Ctrl + E to merge layers.

Step 3: Filter > Pixelate > Crystalize ,  intensity 3

Step 4: Filter > Stylize > Find Edges

Step 5: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur,  Radius 1

Step 6 : Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CW

Press Ctrl + I to invert picture.

Step 7: Filter > Stylize > Wind,

Step 8: Image>Rotate Canvas>90 CCW

Step 9: Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, like on the next picture

And you will get something like this.

The next step is to use the type tool to write something of your choice. I used the font Franklin Gothic Heavy in the font size 60 and first latters 72. Right click on the text layer in the layer palette, and apply these styling options.

The gradient overlay has #DA1932 on the far right, and #665FE7 on the far left.

Feel free to try out some lighting effects and drop shadows to make it more special.
