In this tutorial you will create a really cool photo manipulation using stock images provided by some really great artists.
Step 1: Create a new document
First of all open a new document in Photoshop (Dimensions: 1019×1219 px).

STEP 1: Create a 1680 x 1050 px new document. I use this size because its my desktop resolution so it fits as a wallpaper without stretching the picture.

Photo manipulation is an art that requires a lot of patience along with the expertise in Photoshop. With our creativity and imagination, we can manipulate any photograph the way we want. Its all about how we use our imagination and properly understand the effects that can be achieved in Photoshop and other similar tools and employing them with a lot of experimentation.
In this tutorial we will create a glamour scene manipulating photos in a non-destructive way. In short, the file will contain the original images used and you can always return to any point and tweak a few details.
Step 1: Open Photoshop and create a new document, I’m using 800×600 pixels but you can use bigger size so you can use it as wallpaper. Fill the background layer with a very dark grey #151515.
Step 1: Create a New Document 400 x 400 px. Using the Gradient Tool, draw a blue gradient on the background like on the next picture. Colors I used are: #2f8bc0 to #6dc5de.
Open new document 200X100 px, and make new layer Layer>New>Layer (Shift+Ctrl+N).
Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool (M), and activate option Fixed Size. Set your settings like on the next picture.
Step 1: Start a new document 800×600 (or any size you want). Press D to reset your colors to black and white.
Step 2: Go to Filter » Render-Clouds

Step 2: Now you set the 2 base colours for the wallpaper. The colors I used are #25841b and #FFFFFF (you can pick different colours). Set your foreground colour to #25841b and your background colour to #FFFFFF. Choose Filter > Render > Clouds.
