Samsung Galaxy A50 & A30 Feature Multiple Cameras, Decent Screen & Big Battery – The Samsung Galaxy A Series has been expanded with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy A50 and A30 smartphones.
The release of the two new Galaxy A Series smartphones signals the start of the upgrade to the Galaxy A Series Samsung has been talking about which sees better displays, smarter cameras and longer lasting batteries been added to the smart devices.
“People are changing the way they connect, and their smartphones need to keep up,” says DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a triple rear camera, an Infinity-U display (top dewdrop style front notch) and a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED screen with on-screen fingerprint unlocking.
The rear camera consists of a 25MP AF f/1.7, 5MP FF f/2.2 and 8MP FF f/2.2 lenses and on the front is a 25MP FF f/2.0 lens.
There’s a 4,000mAh battery built-in along with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage which can be expanded with a 512GB Micro SD memory card. It also measures 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7mm.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 is similar in specs to the Galaxy A50 offering a 4,000mAh battery, the same screen size (including the Infinity-U top notch & fingerprint unlocking) and the same body dimensions. But, there’s only a dual camera on the rear (16MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/2.2), the selfie camera has fewer megapixels (16P FF f/2.0) and there’s less RAM and internal storage (3/4GB RAM, 32/64 GB Internal Storage) but you can expand the memory of the Galaxy A30 with a 512GB Micro SD.
Price & Availability
There are no details on price and availability yet but the Galaxy A Series is part of the Samsung mid-budget range of smartphones so they shouldn’t be too expensive.
